Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Glengarry and Northern Ireland Medal
Original Glengarry and Northern Ireland Medal, both were formerly belonging to PTE C F HADDOW of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.
The Glengarry is in good condition for its age showing some wear but no holes or major damage, to the reverse of the badge shows the name and serial number C F HADDOW 25109252.
Northern Ireland service medal is in good condition and is marked with the recipients number, rank, name and regiment 25109252 PTE C F HADDOW A & SH

Royal Yacht Britannia, Royal Marines Bandsman’s Uniform

Up for sale is a genuine Royal Yacht Britannia Royal Marines Bandsman’s Uniform Tunic & Trousers from the 1990s and is in excellent condition. Tunic Size (as on label see picture )Height 6.2, Brest 42, waist 35. The trousers are of a lighter material than the tunic and are 32 waist, 31 inside leg

Royal Marines travelled on the Royal Yacht Britannia when she was in service when the Royal family travelled, the Royal Marines band travelled with them. They entertained Beat Retreat on the quayside, played to guests at the end of dinner and they would entertained at official functions.

The Royal Yacht Britannia was decommissioned in 1998 and is now a floating museum in the Edinburgh docks.

Some Royal Marines Bandsman’s Uniform's can still be seen on display aboard the royal yacht museum (see picture ).

This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of history the wearer of this uniform would almost certainly have played in front of her majesty, the royal family and dignitaries from all over the world.
