A Colt 2 nd
model .41 rim-fire Derringer pistol circa 1870 with 2 ½ inch swing opening barrel, chequered birds head walnut grips and sheath trigger.
Tops of barrel with maker details of 'COLT'S PT FA MFG CO HARTFORD CT USA', underside of the barrel is stamped with the serial number '4051 and London proof marks.
Pistol has matching serial numbers, grips are undamaged, barrel hinge slightly loose but not excessive.
NB As an antique obsolete calibre rim fire pistol no licence is required to own this pistol in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display.
