A top hat percussion pistol with 4cm round turn-off steel barrel engraved with stiff leaf tips to the muzzle and Birmingham proof marks, the box lock engraved JACKSON, LONDON, with hinged top hat cap retainer, concealed trigger and walnut slab butt, 6 inch (15.4cm) overall.
Traces of original blued finish, some black patching to metalwork.
