A rare 19th Century Gentleman's, Irish Percussion Travelling Pistol by Walsh of Dublin c1840.
The 34 bore, 4.5 inch (11.5cm) steel barrel with fluted rib engraved ‘Dublin’ and Irish registration D-C 3626, with swivel steel ramrod, foliate engraved cock and back action lock plate inscribed Walsh, walnut stock with chequered grip and hinged steel back strap enclosing compartments for storing ammunition.
The pistol is in overall very good condition. Measures 9" (23cm) overall.
