This is a first issued M1891 Carcano rifle bayonet for the 1891 6.5mm Mannlicher Carcano rifle with brass mounted leather scabbard, later bayonet's where issued with steel mounted scabbards.
The M1891 was used in both world wars.
Both bayonet and scabbard are in very good condition.
