Norwegian M1894 Krag Jorgensen Bayonet A Norwegian M1894 Krag Jorgensen Bayonet and scabbard with the 1956 muzzle ring modification to fit the U.S M1 Carbine.
Bayonet with a clean 21.5cm blade, wood grips and a leaver-type “Krag” locking mechanism. The 1894 bayonet was the standard when Norway was overrun by the Germans in 1940, and it continued to be produced for issue to German second-line troops and security troops during the occupation. This is a very good example of an 1956 modified M1894 Krag Jorgensen bayonet and scabbard with green canvas frog.
